The federal government has raised the prices of petroleum products for the second time since the beginning of this year. The new prices will apply from 12 noon tonight.
Special Assistant for Political Relations Dr. Shahbaz Gul said on the micro-blogging website Twitter that the Prime Minister did not approve the summary of Rs 13 per liter increase in petrol price by OGRA and Finance Division and decided to increase the price to a minimum. ۔

According to the notification, an increase of Rs 3.20 per liter in petrol, Rs 2.95 per liter in high-speed diesel, and Rs 3 per liter in kerosene has been approved. The new price of petrol will be Rs 109.20, high-speed diesel Rs 113.19 and kerosene Rs 76.65.
According to the notification, OGRA and Finance Division had sent a summary to increase the price of petrol by Rs 13.7, high-speed diesel by Rs 11.03, kerosene by Rs 10.55, and light diesel by Rs 15.33.
